The Samtredia Municipality Library is a public information center where the population is provided with all kinds of information. Here are delivered new books, magazines and newspapers, are held literary presentations, debates, celebratory and anniversary evenings, meetings with prominent people. Readers of the library are representatives of all sphere of society, mostly teachers, students, pupils and pensioners.
Library status is NNLP. The Samtredia Municipality library is a state structure in Samtredia Municipality and the main library of the district. The library is the main state book depository, cultural-educational, information center of Samtredia. The library was founded in 1892. Category of readers: all categories of readers from the age of 15. Number of readers: 1995.
